An industry-leading Canadian software provider with technology at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and computational imaging is looking for the top Latin American talent. Their award-winning products address mission-critical applications for the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Autonomous Vehicle (AV), Smart City, and video security markets.
We are looking for an Imaging Researcher to join the ISP optimization software group.
We believe in interdisciplinary research. Candidates will be working with a diverse team of imaging, computer vision, optimization, physics, and optics experts.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of image processing algorithms for camera Image Signal Processor (ISP)
Develop optimization methods for complex imaging systems.
Develop and adapt computational photography and computer vision algorithms.
Develop IP. File patents.
Write deployable code and perform methodological and functional code reviews.
Build compelling demos.
Requirements:
Experience with Python scripting.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in image processing.
Experience and understanding of color processing, Three As (AF, AE, AWB) and color management.
Experience with filtering and denoising.
Image smoothing and sharpening.
Experience in image quality evaluation.
Linux experience as a user.
Experience with tools and libraries to process images.
Desirable Requirements
Experience tuning digital camera systems (sensors and ISPs)
HDR/WDR
Three As (AF, AE, AWB) and color management
Image/video quality KPI (Key Performance Indicators) expertise
Machine learning expertise
Optimization expertise
